Bob and Renee at Marché Bacchus

We continued eating our way through Las Vegas on the last night of Bob and Renee's visit. Even though we are the locals, Bob introduced us to Marché Bacchus on one of his previous visits. We are still trying to figure out why we hadn't been back! Roger woke me up this morning and said, "Marché Bacchus is my new favorite restaurant in Las Vegas." Beautiful evening, wonderful friends and family, and great food. There were five of us, each one had a different entree, no sharing except for the bread pudding and chocolate dessert, and each one of us loved our selection.

The wonderful wine store was billed as a candy store for adults - oh, and what a fine selection of "candy".  Much of the wine was half priced; but the best part was that you could buy the wine from the store to drink at dinner, and save the exhorbitant restaurant prices.  So, the food was some of the best we have had in Las Vegas, the wine was equal in excellence, and the prices were such that the non-celebrities could afford it.  That is why Roger concluded that it was his new favorite.

We feel free to share this nugget with you without fear of your storming it because it is hidden in a remote part of town nestled next to an unnamed lake cloistered among vine covered tressils - even the employees couldn't give us directions.

Lovely evening at Marché Bacchus!

OK, you guessed it, the restaurant review employed a guest blogger.
