Veteran's Day Weekend - Painting

Here we go again!! While I love our bungalow, I don't like that most of it is white, especially the carpet. We are slowly remodeling our home and when Roger's sister, Phyllis, called to say that she and her family wanted to come visit for Veteran's Day weekend, we said we would love to have them, but we were already planning on painting. Being the great relatives they are, they still said "yes, that they would come and help!"

Here we go! We spent all day on Thursday getting everything out of the kitchen.

A couple of "before pics." We've had splotches of paint on the walls for months, trying to figure out what color we like.

Before pics of the painters!

Are we going to like all this color? It's so scary to pick colors!

Built-in entertainment!

I'm not too afraid of heights, but more than that, I don't want the main breadwinners falling off the ladder!

Veronica is afraid of heights, but she's usually fine once she's off the ladder.

Awesome relatives!

Worn out after one day!
Next day...
Now we begin the after pics!!

Ready to go to breakfast! Yes! No more white walls (in the kitchen and dining room, anyway).

Baker's Rack back up...

Pictures all hung.

New angle for the dining room table.

Roger will be finishing the cabinets for the next project. We hope to replace the floor tile with wood floors, eventually.

We are all happy with the colors.

Office, bedrooms, and hallway are the only ones left to be painted. Paint! It's magic!!
