EASTER SUNDAY AND OUR FAVORITE PANDEMIC RESTAURANT

Easter Sunday has always been one of my favorite holidays and one where my family almost always comes over. We usually take a big group picture and again, no one would come over. People were keeping in their "bubble" and we hadn't gone back to our Bible Study, yet. We had been sitting at home watching church on our TV as our church had closed in-person worship. But, we got dressed up anyway on Easter Sunday and took our picture. Just us.

Then we went to our favorite take-out restaurant 20 minutes away. They were always so nice to us and had not taken up their tables like so many other restaurants had, even though they were spread apart and outdoors. We asked if we could sit outside, the owner said, "do you see the gestapo around?" So we started frequenting the place every weekend as you can see below. Their croissants are so good and I hate to say, this is where part of my COVID Chub came from in 2020. We decided we would continue to frequent the place after all the other restaurants opened so we still go at least one a month.
