Nancy and Family

Nancy's daughter is moving to New York! Before she left, Nancy wanted to get a family photo with her daughter and son! Nancy and her son are both actors, so it was especially fun taking their family portraits! Beautiful family, beautiful day, what more could a photographer ask for?

Katie and Flo

Flo is one of the dearest people I know and my first friend at my church. She had told me for awhile that she wanted portraits of her granddaughter, Katie, to give to Katie's mom for a present. I told Flo the same thing I tell all the moms, dads, and grandmothers...I want to take a couple of photos of you, too. I told Flo to make sure she didn't clash with what Katie was wearing.  Looking at these photos, I want portraits of my granddaughters in their beautiful Easter dresses! We were a little worried about the weather, rain was in the forecast, but it just turned out to be one of those beautiful days with God's softbox in the sky.

Katie and her beautiful grandmother, Flo!

Jake and Family

Jake is graduating very soon! I told his mom, Dicksie, that I like to take a couple of shots with the mom or dad that brings the graduating senior to the photoshoot. Well, she was the first to bring the whole family! Good thing, because once they leave the house, it's hard getting them all together again.

Dicksie wanted one of the Wild Sorbet frames for this portrait and I can't wait until it gets here! Beautiful family!

Kaila - First Look!

Kaila was in Las Vegas for a volleyball tournament and we went to Lake Las Vegas with her mom for a senior photoshoot! Kaila already has a scholarship to play volleyball and as you will see by a few of the photos below - she and her family are huge Steeler fans! She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! We had fun at Lake Las Vegas - still my favorite place for a photoshoot!

These next ones were for her dad! Kaila's favorite Pittsburgh Steeler is Troy Polamalu!

Yes, I always like to stop at this door when doing a photoshoot at Lake Las Vegas! If I ever replace my door at my home - it will be one just like it!

Kayla - First Look!

Okay, yes, I've had blogathy (apathy about my blog). Truth is I took an office job last January and haven't given this blog a lot of time. But, hey, it's a New Year! I just may have a blogathon (updating every 30 minutes for 24 hours)!

Kayla's grandmother wanted to have a photoshoot for Kayla's eighth birthday. She said, "Is that silly?" NOT AT ALL! Does anyone still have a Gameboy? How about an Atari system? Does anyone even know what those are? But, how many still have photos of themselves when they were a kid? Best present ever, Grandma! I had a lot of fun taking Kayla's photos. Since it's close to Valentine's Day, I even bought a template for some Valentine's Cards in case she wants to pass them out to her classmates. Here's the First Look...

Here is Kayla with her favorite book.

Kayla was a great model!

I gave her a sucker for being such a great subject, but she left it at my house! Don't worry, Kayla, I'll give your grandmother another one for you.
Thanks, Grandma!
